Mission statement
The Mechanik Center Erlangen GmbH is a provider of special ist solutions for mechanical engineering and plant construction and a supplier of technologically advanced manufacturing services for the industrial, energy and medical technology arenas. We deal with the complete life cycle of plants, systems and products.
Thanks to our in-depth expertise and broad range of services relating to plant engineering and technical installations, we ofter our customers turnkey solutions that cover everything from planning and construction to subsequent dismantling and removal.
With foresighted commitment, we assume our social responsibility when it comes to protection of the environment and thrifty use of natural resources. Health and safety of each individual who works for and with us is a basic principle that underlies our activities worldwide. Promotion of these aspects is part of our corporate culture and reflects our responsibility for the human and the environment in the development of innovative technologies for our customers.
Guiding principles
For us, compliance with laws and regulations has top priority. We design, develop, manufacture and market our products and services in a manner that meets or exceeds any applicable demands and minimizes the impact on our natural resources. We work continuously on reducing risks of our products and services including those associated with product life cycles. In doing so, we use the best available technologies as trusted medical and scientific knowledge.
Occupational safety and protection of health and the environment are not only a management task, but also a permanent commitment for all employees to collaborate responsibly within the scope of their tasks. Our executives promote the necessary awareness through exemplary behaviour and provide the required resources. This is done through information and support in relation to all issues related to environmental, health and safety issues and by defining clear and ambitious goals. The focus is on avoiding accidents, the highest standards with regard to environmental compatibility of our products and reduction of operational pollution. Our technologies have already proven themselves in many projects and clearly show that protection of the environment and cost-effectiveness of industrial solutions need not be mutually exclusive.
To continue boosting awareness of occupational safety and protection of health and the environment, continuous creation of competence on the part of our executives and employees is a matter of course.
For us, it goes without saying that our environmental, health and safety process must be continuously improved, taking internal and external best practice solutions into account. We take necessary measures to ward off hazards and damage.
We regularly inform the general public the new technologies we have developed, our environmentally related achievements and health and safety aspects.
We cooperate with the responsible authorities and urge our business partners to base their actions on equivalent principles to the ones we follow ourselves
